Kangaroo Winners Returned from the International Camp |
| |
On August 15, the two Armenian winners of the Kangaroo math contest returned from Bulgaria. During eight days, Edgar Minasyan and Abraham Grigoryan enjoyed their active rest in the international summer camp with peers from Bulgaria, France, Romania, Russia and Georgia, and presented Armenia there.
The young Armenians participated in a whole range of interesting events and competitions, went sightseeing, and were especially impressed by the trip to Bezbog peak of Pirin mountain, and the competition called “math orientation.”
The children say they have made a lot of new acquaintances and friends from different cultures, and had a good opportunity to see many sights and, of course, to broaden their vision of life.
It will be recalled that international summer camp vouchers have been provided as a prize to winners by the Ayb Foundation, the contest organizer, and the air tickets have been provided by VTB Bank (Armenia), the General partner of Kangaroo 2010.
We say welcome back to our two young winners and wish them new achievements.
